5th Dragoon
Guards, (Princess Charlotte of
Wales').
Raised in 1685 as the Duke of Shrewsbury's regiment of Horse, and in 1784
changed their name to 5th Dragoon Guards.

The regiment was awarded one Victoria Cross, won by Second Lt J Norwood, at Ladysmith during the Boer War. 1899.
The Inniskillings (6th Dragoons)
Raised in 1689 as Cunningham's Dragoons changing there name in 1751 to the
6th Inniskillin Dragoons.
